Welcome to the DFS Delivery, the article that helps you build your DFS lineups and focuses on the overall best plays at the time of writing.

Well, yesterday was fun in a strange way, with Bey going off for 51 points and a showdown slate that was actually interesting since everyone that mattered got ruled out!

On to today, where we get a massive 12 game slate and a plethora of options to choose from.

So, let’s dive into my favorite plays at the moment, for this 12-game slate.

Player Tiers

Expensive Tier

Dejounte Murray ($10,600) – Murray faces the shorthanded Pelicans in what looks to be an excellent matchup for him. He’s averaging 25.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 2.4 steals over the last 10 games and has two 60+ games in that span. His usage rate is now up to 27.2 percent, which is nearly four percentage points higher than last season and his efficiency is at 46.4 percent from the field.

Kevin Durant ($10,500) – So, I have a theory about the Nets. When Kyrie is in, Durant is taking a back seat and lets Kyrie be the man so he will be fresh for the games that Irving will not be playing. So, with that in mind, I am going to go to Durant here against the shorthanded Trail Blazers, who are giving up the fourth-most points per game. He is averaging 28.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 7.4 rebounds through seven appearances since returning from injury, and already has a 70+ performance in there. Blowout you say? Can’t he score 60 points as Kyrie did in 3 quarters?

Jayson Tatum ($9,500) – Tatum is facing the Kings tonight, and it is hard to not like him going up against one of the worst defenses in the league. Tatum has had 50+ fantasy points in four of the last five games and is averaging 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over that span. Cannot see how Sacramento can stop him tonight.

Mid-Tier

Malcolm Brogdon ($7,700) –  This is just too good of a matchup to pass up with the Pacers facing off against the Houston Rockets. the backcourt duo here of Brogdon and Haliburton has a high floor in a game that could be an absolute track meet from start to finish. Though the two guards do cut into each other’s performance some when sharing the court; we’ve seen Brogdon especially able to pay these prices when the minutes are there. He’s still getting up more than 17 shots per game in the short-term and the assists have come when the pace increases.

Robert Williams ($6,800) –  Williams is averaging 35+ fantasy points in his last eight games and he is averaging a double-double and 2.6 blocks. Sacramento comes into tonight’s game allowing the second-highest offensive efficiency to centers (35.4 percent) along with the second-most fantasy points per game to the position (58.6).

Jordan Clarkson ($5,800) – With Donovan Mitchell out on Friday, Clarkson is bound to see a huge usage bump. He should still see significant minutes in this matchup and although going up against the Clippers is not the best, I cannot ignore someone that is going to play 32+ minutes and he is on a heater lately.

Value

Nicolas Claxton ($3,400) – Claxton has played over 20 minutes in four straight games and has at least 22 fantasy points in each of these contests. He seems to have secured the backup role to Drummond and his minutes seem to be secure now. He can give us points in every category and at this price, he looks like an excellent option.

Goga Bitadze ($3,400) – Well that’s a misprice on DK’s part. Goga Bitadze is currently questionable though if he’s cleared he would likely start. If that was the case, it would be more than enough for him to hit value on DraftKings where he’s basically a punt play. He’d be an immediate double-double threat against the Rockets and a lock if he is actually in.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($3,100) – Utah has already ruled out Donovan Mitchell (calf), Bojan Bogdanovic (calf), Udoke Azubuike (ankle), and Danuel House Jr. (knee), while Trent Forrest ($3,000; wrist) is questionable. In the last game, with Bogdanovic and House out, Alexander-Walker was a big beneficiary off the bench. He scored 16 points in 22 minutes and finished with 26 fantasy points. But that was with Mitchell playing; with him out, there should be even more work for Alexander-Walker on Friday. His salary is way too low for the role I expect him to play tonight.

Honorable Mentions: Nikola Jokic ($11,500), Jonas Valanciunas ($8,400), Fred VanVleet ($7,600), Jalen Smith ($5,700), Bobby Brown ($5,600), Rui Hachimura ($3,300).
