Welcome to the DFS Delivery, the article that helps you build your DFS lineups and focuses on the overall best plays at the time of the writing.

After a crazy deadline day yesterday and a wanky slate, tonight looks to be a little more stable, at least regarding the news and the players that will play for their new teams.

So, let’s dive into my favorite plays at the moment, for this 7-game slate.

    Player Tiers

    Expensive Tier

Joel Embiid ($11,900) – Embiid has an easy matchup against the Thunder tonight and since the team went all out to get Harden, they are without bodies for this game. That should make Embiid’s minutes increase, or at the very least more secure in the upper 30s. Either way, we are talking about a player that is averaging 1.5 fantasy points per minute, even if the game ends up being a blowout, he will most likely be the reason why.

DeMar DeRozan ($9,700) – DeRozan is a risky play tonight only because the Bulls have mostly everyone available. However, they are involved in high-scoring games as of late and that means a lot of production and fantasy points are available for all three of the Chicago stars. My preferred option is DeRozan out of those three since I consider him to be the one that will have the ball in his hands down the stretch in a close game.

LaMelo Ball ($9,000) The Hornets give their starters huge minutes and tend to play in close games, which is a very good recipe for DFS. When LaMelo can avoid foul trouble he is just a triple-double machine and is able to smash his price tag. He has shown lately the ability to stay on the floor and I will go to him again tonight. The ceiling is simply too high to avoid.

    Mid-Tier

Terry Rozier ($6,400) The Hornets are pretty shorthanded right now and they have shown the willingness to run the starters major minutes. Rozier has 39-plus minutes in five of his last six games, and he has put up 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists in that stretch with the usage being close to 25%. Given all of the above, I think he is one of the best options in his price range.

Jerami Grant ($6,000) – Grant was not traded to everyone’s surprise, so for now, he will keep getting heavy minutes and usage in Detroit. Especially with the possibility that Cade is ruled out once again and with the new acquisitions still in limbo, Grant should see heavy minutes and even more usage.

Kelly Oubre Jr. ($5,900)  Oubre got the start for the injured Gordon Hayward last time out and although he had 19 points, he failed to get many peripherals. He will have to do better at that department in order for us to get value but he’s shown in the past that it can happen and he’s able to get after it on the defensive end, especially with the steals and blocks, so I am going go to him again tonight.

    Value

Devin Vassell ($4,000) – It looks like Vassell will slot into the starting lineup in the backcourt alongside Dejounte Murray and could see minutes increase along the way since the Spurs traded Derrick White to the Celtics. The price is very low on DraftKings especially if he does end up in the starting lineup, but regardless there should be plenty of usage to come his way.

Kelly Olynyk ($4,000) – Olynyk has been very solid on a points-per-minute basis this season and should continue doing so tonight, with the Pistons making a bunch of moves and with their rotation up in the air at the moment. Olynyk should see minutes though since the Pistons are thin at his position. The matchup against the fastest-paced team in the league in the Hornets is an added bonus, also.

Bones Hyland ($3,800) – Monte Morris (concussion) has already been ruled out so Hyland should see heavy minutes tonight. On Tuesday he played 25 minutes and had 35.5 DKFP. Starting or not, if Hyland gets over 20 minutes, he should be able to easily return five-times value with the ceiling for more if he really gets rolling.

Honorable Mentions: Nikola Jokic ($12,400), Dejounte Murray ($10,300), Evan Mobley ($6,700), Clint Capela ($3,300), Zach Collins ($3,500), Danny Green ($3,300).
