Having Bennedict Mathurin on your fantasy roster feels like a russian roullete. He scored 8, 21, 28 and 8 points in his last four games. But last game against the Rockets marked the first time he played 25 minutes or less since the 28th of October, making this the exception rather than the norm. And who are the Pacers playing today? The Bucks, who allow the 2nd most points and most 3s to opposing SGs, to go along with a top-10 fg%. So, Mathurin is not a russian roullete! He’s a calculated play with a great matchup. There’s only one more thing to notice here. Mathurin is averaging 2.5 less ppg in away games when compared to home games. But it’s important to see why. He’s getting 6 less minutes in away games, but shooting about the same fg% and has a better 3pt% in away games, by 9.3%! His bulk of fantasy points com from his scoring, and with a bunch of Pacers out or questionable, those 6 less minutes per game could very easily be a pattern from the past. All things point to a great Mathurin game today!
