• The NBA has gifted us with a mid-week 11-game slate! And we’ve had a pleasant surprise yesterday. With Deandre Ayton being out, Robert “Timelord” Williams got extended playing time and delivered the kind of perfomance that made everyone love him in the first place – 19/9/3/3/3 on 90% from the field. The Blazers play again today, against the Timberwolves, and Ayton remains questionable! In other notes, the two highest O/U of the slate belong to the Grizzlies @ Lakers game (231.5) and the Bulls (surprise surprise, they’re here again) @ Knicks (231). Cam Reddish has seen his minutes increase over the last couple of games and he’s an interesting play, specially if he continues to start. And Austin Reaves has thrived without D’Angelo Russell in the lineup! There’s a lot to unpack here so let’s get started!

    DFS Pillar Plays

    Bennedict Mathurin

    Salary: $6,000

    Position: SG/SF

Mathurin scored 38 points last game against the Knicks. And 22 the game before. And 20 the game before that. As long as he keeps shooting this efficiently and getting 30+ minutes, he’s a lovely player to have in your lineup at a $6,000 price-tag. The downside? The Magic are giving up the least amount of points to opposing SFs. That may keep him out of some lineups, but his play lately makes him a very intriguing option.
