According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Wizards have been in trade talks involving Marcin Gortat. 

As always with trades it will be hard to gauge who it will benefit or hurt until we have an idea of a potential team or two. The Wizards would likely receive another frontcourt player in a deal so Ian Mahinmi would remain in his bench role regardless. With that said the 31-year-old has increased his production with 75.7 percent shooting from the field over the last month. Gortat has been losing a few minutes to Mahinmi lately because of his hot shooting, but remains a 12-team league own for rebounding.
