John Wall erupted for 40 points, three boards, 13 assists, three steals, three blocks and three triples in the 119-129 loss to the Celtics on Tuesday.

The Wizards started the game out on a mission, with Wall leading them out of the gates. It was pretty much a duel between Wall and Isaiah Thomas, with IT coming out on top in this one. Still, John Wall was phenomenal tonight, shooting 16-for-32 from the field. The series goes back to Washington, with the Wizards down 0-2.
