• Raymond Felton scored 11 points on 3-of-12 shooting (1-of-5 from deep, 4-of-5 from the line) with six rebounds, 14 assists and two steals in 36 minutes on Friday against the Grizzlies.

J.J. Barea has been getting pushed way past his normal workloads and after a hard foul he tweaked his groin and there’s no telling how long he could be out.  Furthermore, the Mavs have a nice cushion and probably expect to make the playoffs with little fanfare.  In fact, their only question is whether or not they covet a matchup against a Thunder team they’ve beat in the past, and in that case they’d have to pass the No. 6 Grizzlies who are only a game ahead of them in the standings.

Felton has dealt with his own groin injury and Deron Williams (abdominal) could easily get tapped if the Mavs believe his injury has had enough time to heal, but owners shouldn’t overthink this — Felton is the must-own player and Devin Harris (16 points, three treys, four boards, six turnovers) is worth a look behind him for some late-round value.  Williams is an upside stash with no real indication that he is coming back.
