• Myles Turner scored a career-high 31 points on 12-of-17 shooting (0-for-1 3PTs) with eight rebounds, one steal and two blocks in Friday’s loss in Oakland to the Warriors.

Turner wasn’t rated highly in our preseason rankings because we figured the first half of his season would drag his value down.  Coming off the fractured thumb, though, he has been able to work through the rookie curve while on the sidelines and he has jumped back into the rotation with a bang.  To be clear, he looked like the Pacers’ best player tonight against perhaps the best team in the league, and Ian Mahinmi will have his hands full keeping all of his minutes.  We stashed Turner away two weeks ago and didn’t let go, so if your analysts have had you on the fence it’s time to jump into the Turner business.  Below you can find Turner and fellow rookie Joe Young getting their oop on.
