• Luol Deng scored 31 points on 11-of-13 shots (4-of-6 3PTs, 5-of-7 FTs) with seven rebounds and one steal in the Heat’s 123-91 dismantling over the Hornets in Game 1 on Sunday.

It was over very fast.  Hassan Whiteside might have been the best player on the court in a 21-point, 11-rebound night including two steals and three blocks, and Dwyane Wade overcame a slow start to finish with 16 points, four rebounds and seven assists.  Goran Dragic wasn’t needed much with nine points, 10 assists and a steal, and Joe Johnson got his 11 points, six boards, three assists and one three with relative ease.  The Heat have the Hornets covered at almost every position and they just need to not mess up to punch their ticket to the next round.
