Klay Thompson injured his right ankle in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s win over the Pacers and did not return.
Thompson had his first real explosion of the season, hitting 13-of-21 shots (including a season-high 10 threes) to finish with a season-high 39 points, seven rebounds, six assists and one block. Klay said after the game that it’s not a bad sprain and he’ll be back in a couple of days. The Warriors don’t play until Friday against Boston and they are still undefeated, so we’re guessing he’ll play even if his minutes might be down. The buy low period is officially over, unless a non-believer thinks this is prime time to sell.
