Kemba Walker scored 33 points on 12-of-19 shooting (5-of-8 3PTs, 4-of-5 FTs) with five rebounds and six assists in Friday’s blowout win over the Grizzlies.
Walker is producing at a top 15-20 level this season and it’s directly tied into his massive shooting jump through 22 games. His 45.7 percent mark from the field and 39.1 percent mark from deep are high, but a 1.5 decrease in shot attempts per game from last season and the help of Nicolas Batum are definitely at play. Along with his steals being a bit high, we’re guessing he has a 1-3 round dip in value from where he’s at so he’s a sell-high candidate. Just be a bit picky because Kemba is a talented player that has been held somewhat back by the lack of help on his own squad. Batum continued his contract year tear with 20 points, five treys, four rebounds and two assists in the win.
