Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from a two-game absence for right knee soreness in the Bucks’ 116-91 win over the Nets on Friday, scoring 41 points on 14-of-20 shooting (3-of-3 from deep, 10-of-11 from the line) with 13 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes.
The AP recap called it chronic right knee soreness and we think that’s a bit overstated but the knee will definitely be a storyline if it keeps popping up. The Alphabet has been slightly disappointing this season, returning just No. 5 and 7 value in 9- and 8-cat leagues respectively when on the floor, but the season is only halfway done and he could easily push back up the ranks.Â
