Giannis Antetokounmpo was on triple-double alert in Game 2 against the Raptors, but his 24 points were ultimately not enough to get the win.
The Raptors made every effort to pack the paint against Giannis, and even though he repeatedly blew by DeMarre Carroll he looked hesitant with his jumper. He finished with 24 points (9-of-24 from the floor, 5-of-7 from the line and 1-of-3 from deep), 15 boards, seven assists and two steals. There’s no denying his limitless potential, but until he can start hitting from long-range with more consistency there will be nights like this one. The Bucks have been successful with strange hybrid lineups in this series, so it will be interesting to see how Jason Kidd adjusts in Game 3 on Thursday.
