• Derrick Favors scored a career-high 35 points on 14-of-24 shooting (7-of-9 FTs) with 13 rebounds, one steal and one block in the Jazz’s 122-119 overtime win over the Pacers on Saturday.

Favors was a bit of a fade for our preseason projections if anything because fantasy owners have overrated him for a few years.  He’s proving us wrong so far and though his shooting numbers are a bit up and so are the defensive numbers, they’re not abnormal enough for us to get cute on a sell-high deal.  If you want to combine that with some downward valuation due to previous seasons’ injury history, we can see that, and while we’re reaching the recent play could also inflate his stock.  Just be very, very picky.
