Dennis Schroder scored a game-high 29 points on Wednesday against the Wizards, but his outstanding performances simply wasn’t enough to steal a win on the road.
Schroder was efficient in this one, shooting 10-of-18 from the floor, 5-of-6 from deep and 4-of-5 from the line, repeatedly putting the team on his back in an attempt to pull off the upset. Â He also added 11 assists, two steals and one board to his scoring output. Â Schroder has been the Hawks’ most consistent player in this series, but he’s been repeatedly let down by his teammates. Â The Hawks will look to even this series at three games apiece in Atlanta on Friday.
