Dennis Schroder scored a game-high 29 points on Wednesday against the Wizards, but his outstanding performances simply wasn’t enough to steal a win on the road.

Schroder was efficient in this one, shooting 10-of-18 from the floor, 5-of-6 from deep and 4-of-5 from the line, repeatedly putting the team on his back in an attempt to pull off the upset.  He also added 11 assists, two steals and one board to his scoring output.  Schroder has been the Hawks’ most consistent player in this series, but he’s been repeatedly let down by his teammates.  The Hawks will look to even this series at three games apiece in Atlanta on Friday.
