• DeMar DeRozan played through his thumb ailment and scored 34 points on 11-of-22 shooting (1-of-1 3PTs, 11-of-11 FTs) with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Raptors’ 99-91 win over the Heat in Game 5 on Wednesday.

    And there’s the bounce back game we were referring to before the contest.  Yes, the thumb is an issue, but it’s not as much of an issue as the Raptors’ overall game play and decision-making, and in this particular game the various advantages the Raps had up and down the lineup card contributed to easier sledding.  As a contrarian play with a lower salary, DFS owners got paid off tonight.  Kyle Lowry added 25 points on 9-of-25 shooting, four threes, 10 boards, six assists, three steals and one block in a big, inefficient outing.
