DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points on 11-of-23 shooting (1-of-1 3PTs, 10-of-13 FTs) with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in the Raptors’ 118-107 win over the Knicks.
DeRozan is now the first player to score 30 points in eight of nine games to start the year since Michael Jordan in 1986-87 and just the sixth player of the last 50 years to score 300 points in his first nine games. It’s a development that has brought back top-20 value and between the hype surrounding his start and the lower than expected fantasy value for somebody playing so well — this is a pretty nice sell-high moment. We’re not getting rid of him for anything less than top-30 value, however.Â
