• LeBron James scored 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting (4-of-6 3PTs, 5-of-9 FTs) with four rebounds, five assists and three steals in the Cavs’ 123-98 Game 2 drubbing of the Hawks on Wednesday.

The Cavs set an NBA record (regular season and playoffs) for 3-pointers in a game and hit 25-of-45 shots from deep.  The Hawks have nobody that can remotely guard LeBron and everything goes haywire from there for them.  Kevin Love went for 11 and 13 with three treys, Kyrie Irving scored 19 points with four treys, two boards, six assists and a steal, and J.R. Smith got piping hot with 23 points, seven threes, two boards and two steals. The bench chipped in with seven 3-pointers to help set the record.  Given their injury history, we’re not expecting them to suffer a letdown as they realize first-hand what an injury or two can do to derail their playoffs.
