• Ben Simmons fell one assist shy of a triple-double in Monday’s road loss, settling for 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four blocks against the Bulls.

It wasn’t all roses for the ROY frontrunner, as he was an ugly 1-for-5 from the free throw line. On the other hand, he was a solid 9-of-18 from the floor and committed only three turnovers. You take the good with the bad with Simmons, and his poor percentages and turnovers haven’t been enough to derail a solid middle-round season from the impressive rookie. Those deficiencies will limit his ceiling in the near future, but he already boasts a pretty complete game. Simmons was certainly worth the wait for the Philly faithful.
