Anthony Davis scored 45 points on 17-of-31 shooting (1-of-2 3PTs, 10-of-14 FTs) with 17 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in the Pelicans’ 122-114 loss against the Warriors on Friday.

The crazy thing is that Davis could have been fed a whole lot more and the other crazy thing was how far he was falling in drafts.  In 30-DEEP, the fabled 30-team industry league, our own Aaron Bruski grabbed him with the No. 11 pick.  The top of fantasy leagues was already crowded with James Harden, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Karl-Anthony Towns, but Davis has returned to lay his claim to the crown and he has the stat set to finish as the No. 1 overall play.
