Allen Crabbe helped the Nets erase a 28-point deficit in Saturday’s 138-128 double overtime loss with some hot shooting, including an 8-of-18 mark from downtown en route to 28 points in 44 minutes.
Crabbe didn’t do much elsewhere with just six rebounds, one assist and one steal but was the beneficiary of some beautifully drawn up plays when the Nets needed buckets late. Credit Crabbe for knocking down his open looks as well, as fantasy owners certainly remember his awful start to the year. While he won’t deliver on his middle-round upside, it certainly seems like Crabbe will finish as at least a low-end standard league player. He’s running extremely hot as of late, as he just set a new career-high with 34 points on Wednesday. Make sure he’s not on any waiver wires.
