The Knicks played three of their four point guards on Wednesday night with Emmanuel Mudiay delivering eight points, three assists and two steals in 20 minutes off the bench.
Mudiay also shot 3-of-9 and committed four turnovers, which was a nice throwback to his Denver days. Those are the big hurdles between him and fantasy value, to say nothing of playing time. Jarrett Jack started and led the way with 28 minutes but only produced five points, five assists, a steal and a triple while Frank Ntilikina was limited to just 11 minutes. He picked up five points and a pair of steals but isn’t worth holding onto unless he gets named the starter out of the All-Star break. Mudiay seems like he’ll overtake Jack at this point, but there’s no great move for fantasy owners to make here. If nothing else, at least the Knicks made Trey Burke a DNP-CD tonight.
