Nikola Jokic scored 19 points off the bench on Friday against the Wolves, hitting 7-of-12 shots (including four threes) with six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 25 minutes.

This is why we got hot and bothered about a player who really hadn’t done a ton.  Jusuf Nurkic isn’t coming back anytime soon and Darrell Arthur’s bad knees are acting up again.  Joffrey Lauvergne only saw 14 minutes and that’s playing a decent role in Jokic’s big minute total tonight, but the big takeaway here is that he’s well worth a stash.  Given his upside he’s a mid-level stash at that.
