John Collins returned to action for Hawks in their 91-105 loss to the Pistons, with the big man scoring 15 points in 20 minutes off the bench.
His return was a breath of fresh air. The rookie also added seven boards, a steal and a block with zero turnovers. His return obliterates the near-non-existent fantasy value of Miles Plumlee, who has been a non-factor as a fill-in starter at center for the Hawks. Whether or not Collins makes his way into the starting lineup, he should be in line for some big minutes with an accelerated improvement track down the road.
