Richaun Holmes scored 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds and one steal in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks.
Holmes nearly cracked the top-150 in just 57 games and was a top 90-110 (9/8 cat) player in just 20.9 mpg on the season. He was an early round player over the last third of the season and Hoop Ball owners had first crack at him by a long shot. Because of his torrid finish he’ll be in the discussion for waiver wire pickup of the year, and owners will be tempted to fade him next year because of the presence of Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor and the like — but Holmes’ stat set is strong and it’s only getting better.
