The Portland Trailblazers waived F Andrew Nicholson on Wednesday.

The Blazers used the stretch provision to spread out the cap hit so it won’t be too much of a burden for them this year. Nicholson is 27 and only played in 38 games last year, he wasn’t really expected to make the roster as he was brought over in the Allen Crabbe trade with the Nets. He’s not a horrible player and has potential so he’ll most likely be invited by another team.
