Shams: Pelicans release Josh Smith

  • The Pelicans have released forward Josh Smith, per Shams Charania of The Vertical.

    Smith did well to get back into the NBA but his comeback attempt didn’t amount to much of anything. He played in his first three games with the team after signing on October 28th but averaged just 4.0 minutes per game and has been a DNP ever since. It could be the end of the line for J-Smoove.
