Veteran center, Kendrick Perkins has been signed to a training camp deal by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Perkins is more of a locker room guy at this stage of his career. Even if the Cavs are thin up front, Perkins is not expected to log significant minutes should he make the final cut. The team has enough versatile players in an era of positionless basketball to minimize the need for an old-school, prototypical big man. Perkins can be ignored on draft day even in very deep leagues.
