Lakers forward Loul Deng expressed that he wishes to play more at the 4 spot in the upcoming season.

Deng had one of his least productive seasons to date and he attributes some of it to playing out of position. “In terms of my future,” Deng said, “I would like to play at the 4 more.” He expanded on this saying, “The 3 is more of a spot-up position for a lot of teams. I think I struggle with that.” If Deng is to remain on the Lakers, his value is quite limited especially as they look to bring along their youngsters.
