Heat guard Josh Richardson may be put into the starting five with Goran Dragic doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
We’ve seen Richardson man the point a few times last season and could be the better fit for the starting lineup since Tyler Johnson has been great in his sixth-man role. “He’s really competitive,” coach Erik Spoelstra said of Richardson. “He gives us that two-way player that can guard multiple positions.” Coach Spoelstra also added that he wasn’t quite ready to bump Richardson’s minutes yet, stating that around 28 minutes was ideal for him.
