Isaiah Thomas (personal) plans to play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs vs. the Bulls.

Isaiah is dealing with the loss of his sister in a tragic car crash yesterday and coach Brad Stevens said he’s been really emotional about the situation. He’s wearing shoes that say his sister’s name on them and coach Stevens also said that he can check out of the game at anytime if he feels as though he can’t play anymore. He’s a soldier and clearly one of the toughest guys in the league both physically and mentally. It’s going to be an emotional game for him, but he’s looking to pull out a win.
