In his year end press conference, Blazers GM Neil Olshey made it clear that Festus Ezeli will not be on the roster next season.

Portland signed Ezeli to a two year deal worth over $15 million, but the big man never played a game in Rip City. Dogged by injuries, Ezeli was forced to miss the entire year and will now have to find a new team on the market, as Portland will not be picking up the team option for year two. He might have to settle for small money “prove it” deals but should surface somewhere.
