Kevin Durant was quoted before Friday’s game against the Pelicans saying that, “[Anthony Davis is] probably going to lead the league in scoring this year easily …”.

This came right before Davis dropped 45 on the Warriors, so the timing was impeccable. Many people had their eye on guys like Russell Westbrook and James Harden before the season started, but now all eyes are on Davis who has simply been dominating. Of course one issue that will always loom over the big man is his health, as he has not surpassed 68 games played in any season yet. As for now, Davis is making those who were too squeamish to draft him regret it posting 95 points along with full stat lines through only two games.
