Luke Walton said that D’Angelo Russell looked like he was favoring his sore left knee in Sunday’s game and that he might need to be sidelined going forward.

The Lakers aren’t about to let a young player make a decision to play through knee pain like this and this is a pretty big red flag for further absences.  He’s questionable for Tuesday’s game and that might be the least of owners’ concerns, as anything from day-to-day status to week-to-week status could be on the horizon.  Look for Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson to continue picking up the slack, while Nick Young might have some additional staying power in 12-team formats.
