Rodney Hood (lower leg contusion) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Spurs, while Joe Johnson (rest) will take the night off.
This is great news for Rodney Hood owners as he has missed the last six games. Hood has been a top-115 per-game player with a career-high 16.7 points and 2.7 triples and should be owned in all standard-sized leagues. Alec Burks will take the biggest hit here but maybe not on Saturday as someone will need to take Joe Johnson’s minutes. Joe Ingles‘ usage rate may take a slight hit as he is averaging 3.7 triples in the six games that Hood missed, but he should obviously still remain owned in all leagues.
Update: Hood will play tonight and owners should probably keep him on ice until we see what he’s capable of. His name has been in the trade rumor mill, albeit lightly, and the Jazz might not mind if he goes off this week.
