Kristaps Porzingis will reportedly not be available for the NBA's December 22nd start, though he will return at some point during the season.
This confirms what most already suspected about Porzingis. Once the NBA confirmed its December start it was unlikely the Unicorn would be ready to play on day one. He was playing at an incredible level prior to the injury, and would have been a popular second round pick had he not torn his meniscus. With a shortened season and no timeline from the team, Porzingis will be a significant draft risk, even at a heavily discounted ADP. In his absence Luka Doncic should have monstrous usage, and Maxi Kleber may have a sustained period of elevated value.
