Nikola Mirotic returned to action following a concussion in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, scoring seven points on 3-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one trey in 27 minutes.

It’s good that he’s back on the floor and we were high enough on him to give him a fifth round grade in the preseason, but some of the sophomoric hype surrounding him early on in the season has made Mirotic a polarizing character.  He’ll be just fine and he’ll be a mid-round value this season.  But the Bulls are going to have issues with him defensively and he can’t exactly just chuck it up the way he did earlier in the season — at least until he starts checking all of the other boxes as a hoop ball player.
