• Mike Conley (left heel) will have surgery “to smooth a small bone protrusion” in his heel and will miss the rest of the season according to GM Chris Wallace.

After delaying his return time and time again, the verdict is finally in. Many fantasy owners have held on to him since early November as he is still owned in 92% of Yahoo leagues and they can finally cut him loose. Having played through many injures in the past, Conley tried to do everything he could to get back onto the court but with the Grizzlies now 14 games under .500, this seems like the best decision. By having surgery now, he is expected to make a full recovery by training camp next season. Tyreke Evans and Mario Chalmers will continue manning the load at point guard.
