Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returned from a shoulder injury that basically erased last season for him, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting with five rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes in Monday’s exhibition loss to the Mavs.

MKG fits the style of player owners should want to take with their last few picks, but the injury risk and time off has sort of exasperated the question of whether or not he will truly develop in both real life and in fantasy leagues.  If he can add some 3-point shooting without killing his efficiency, he’ll shoot up the rankings and into standard league consideration pretty quickly.
