Malik Monk

Malik Monk (sore right toe) and Joe Chealey (sprained right ankle) were held out of Thursday's practice while Cody Martin (sprained right ankle) participated in the majority of practice.

Monk is heading into a season in which he needs to prove that he was worth a lottery pick back in 2017. The Hornets are in desperate need of talented players after they lost All-Star Kemba Walker in the offseason. There is no guarantee that Monk plays himself into fantasy value but he will have plenty of opportunity if he is healthy. Chealey and Martin are not on the fantasy radar at this time but could carve out a role on this team that is completely without top-end talent.
