Joel Embiid (knee) went through shootaround and is a game-time decision for Friday’s game against the Rockets.

Embiid has missed the previous three games but seems to be close to a return. He is producing top-50 value on the season in only 25 minutes per game and is one of the names mentioned as being an All-Star snub this year. T.J. McConnell came to his defense, saying, “I think it’s a travesty, to be honest. The amount of minutes he plays and the damage that he does, I think it’s absolute crap that he wasn’t voted into the All-Star game.” It was also noted that Jahlil Okafor will be available to play on Friday.
