Jerryd Bayless left Friday’s game during the third quarter with a left ankle injury and will not return.

Bayless has a history of ankle injuries but we’re not clear on the severity right now.  O.J. Mayo (18 minutes, nine points, two assists, mid-Q3) got benched to start the second half for Rashad Vaughn (11 minutes, no stats, mid-Q3) and there is no clear beneficiary beyond those two guys.  Chances are Bayless’ minutes would be absorbed among the rotation, which Jason Kidd is messing with every time out as the Bucks falter.
