Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.

Lin was run too heavy to start the year and now the Nets are playing it safe.  He really shouldn’t get anything more than 27 mpg if the Nets want to be smart with his conditioning, so he was likely overdrafted and that’s how things are playing out early.  We’re hoping that Isaiah Whitehead can get enough developmental minutes to get a foothold in the rotation, since he’s the replacement with all the fantasy upside.  As of now, he’s just an aggressive stash for owners in 14-16 team leagues.
