Emmanuel Mudiay entered Saturday’s game with lower back soreness and eventually was knocked out of the game early in the third quarter.
Mudiay hasn’t had any real challenges from Jamal Murray or Jameer Nelson for the starting job this season but that’s not to say that there is a big gap between them — because there isn’t. We’ll have to see about the injury and also see if Murray in particular can make any noise before commenting on any change in value.Â
Update: Mudiay is probably out for Sunday’s game against the Wolves. Neither Jamal Murray (five points, three assists, 19 minutes) or Jameer Nelson (six points, eight assists, 29 minutes) was great tonight but it’s hard to imagine one of them not hitting a late-round line, with Nelson as the favorite for that.Â
Emmanuel Mudiay (back) is "probably out" tomorrow night against Timberwolves, per Malone.
