The Mavs still don’t know if forward Dirk Nowitzki will be ready to go for Monday’s game against the Knicks.

Dirk hasn’t been active since November 4 and it appears the Mavs are still shaky on his return date. Coach Rick Carlisle mentioned he was doing better and that he will pick up his practice activity to see how he handles it, but for now look for Dwight Powell and Andrew Bogut to be the primary benefactors of Nowitzki’s absence.
