• After dealing with a stomach issue on Monday, that forced him to retreat to the Heat locker room to throw up at the end of the first quarter, Dion Waiters believes he will be fine.

“I felt like I was dying, man,” he said. “I think it was food poisoning and I didn’t even eat anything the whole day leading up to the game. I couldn’t get up. I just felt so woozy.” Waiters pushed through the discomfort Monday because starting backcourt partner Goran Dragic was out with an elbow injury, which again could be the case Wednesday against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. “I have to play, especially if Goran is not going to play,” he said. “We’ve got to just keep this thing going.” The Heat recalled undrafted guard Matt Williams Jr. to bolster their injury-decimated roster but it’s very unlikely that Waiters misses any game action.
