D’Angelo Russell (knee) will sit out Tuesday night’s game against the Thunder and Wednesday night’s game against the Warriors.

This will mark the second and third game over the last four contests that Russell will miss due to his knee injury. Walton is likely playing it safe with Russell and doesn’t want to rush him back and risk a bigger injury. The Lakers travel to Golden State on Wednesday and he has already been ruled out for that contest. Consider him day-to-day.
