Aaron Gordon has been ruled out of both the Magic’s Monday and Tuesday night games due to continued recovery from a hip flexor injury.
That will total five straight games missed for Gordon and the nagging injury has also forced him to withdraw from the Dunk Contest. Gordon’s minutes have largely gone to Mario Hezonja and Wesley Iwundu with Marreese Speights seeing some extra time at the five as well. With the Magic looking like they will sell at the trade deadline, Gordon owners just need to hang tight and hope he can return to full health whether he remains on the team or gets sent elsewhere. Â
Update: Mario Hezonja will start in Aaron Gordon’s place on Monday.
.@OrlandoMagic will start F Mario Hezonja tonight in place of the injured Aaron Gordon, who is missing a 4th straight game because of a strained left hip flexor. Gordon has also been ruled OUT for Tue night vs. @cavs.
