Free agent Josh Smith is interested in a potential reunion with the Rockets, per ESPN’s Kelly Iko.

Smith has always had 5 x 5 potential but shot his way out of the league by refusing to give up the ghost on his misguided 3-point dreams. Iko reports that “a deal could be in the works soon,” and Houston does have some space for minimum contracts. There’s no fantasy implications for now and so far there’s been no word on whether there’s any two-way interest. It’d be a neat comeback story, at least.
