• Isaiah Thomas scored 16 points on 4-of-15 shooting (1-of-6 3PTs, 7-of-8 FTs) with three rebounds, two assists and one block in Tuesday’s Game 2 loss to the Hawks.

Thomas and Amir Johnson (14 points, eight boards, one block, 21 minutes) were the only starters to show up in this one and with no other offensive outlets Thomas got blanketed all night.  Jae Crowder (two points, seven boards, three assists, four steals, two blocks, 1-of-9 FGs) isn’t at 100 percent but his offensive struggles have more to do with the Celtics’ lack of overall shooting and big man play than they do with his ankle.  Either Sullinger needs to plant his butt down low or maybe Tyler Zeller can come in and work the glass.  Right now the Hawks are being given carte blanche to run a super small and athletic lineup out there that’s going to pick the Celtics apart.
